Students studied the respiratory system this week. On Monday we taped a blood vessel track around the room and acted out the circulatory and respiratory systems. On Wednesday students examined a sheep's trachea, bronchial tubes, heart and lungs in dissection trays as well as slices of the organs under the microscopes.
Next week we will study the reproductive system and begin our whole unit review. If the rats arrive in time, we will dissect them next Friday. It is optional for students.
