This Friday, December 6th, will be the last extended Friday as part of the hurricane make up days. Students will be dismissed at 2:30PM. We will resume early release Friday's on Friday, December 13th for the remainder of the year.

February 17th is a regular school day for students (It was originally a student holiday.)

April 18th will remain a student/teacher holiday for Challenger 7 due to modified schedule. All other schools will be in session on this day

As you may have noticed, there is a current shortage in filling the crossing guard positions through the county. Many of our surrounding streets that used to have crossing guards, no longer do. Please be mindful before and after school hours to maintain speed limits, fully stop at stop signs, and be vigilant of students that may be crossing the streets. Thank you for helping to keep our students safe!

Our C7 Kindness Squad painted some of the ornaments that will be displayed on the Challenger 7 Christmas tree at the Light Up Port St. John event this Friday evening. We would love to see all of our C7 families there. There will be activities and entertainment from 5:30-7:00PM.

The dates below are the assigned parent/guardian lunch days. Complete one survey PER CHILD for each lunch you plan to attend and include all adults that will be attending to make sure we have space. Click here to review the procedures and more information.

Please note: if you are checking out the student after lunch, the student must first go to their classroom. The parent/guardian will go to the office to check out the child. Then, the child will be called for check out from the classroom. Parents/Guardians are not allowed to take their child out of school directly from lunch.

Parents/Guardians may only eat with their registered child. Other students not registered for parent/guardian lunch may not join a group.

The holidays are near, and our school is running a special holiday shop! Students will have the opportunity to choose their own affordable, quality gifts for family and friends.

The Holiday Gift Shop will be open Monday, December 9th through Friday, December 13th in the library. Shop hours are Monday through Thursday 8:10 am until 2:20 pm and on Friday 8:10 am– 1:00 pm.

Instead of pulling students out of class to shop, they will have the opportunity to bring their money during their Library and PE activity days. Please make sure you remind them to take their money on those days. This shop is cash only shop, so please do not send checks or credit cards.

Along with this letter, a budget envelope is attached and will allow you and your child to decide together how much to spend on gifts.

Currently, we are looking for some wonderful, registered volunteers to help make this shop a success. If you would like to give some of your time, please contact Mr. Scauzillo through email at Scauzillo.chris@brevardschools.org to set up a time to volunteer.

We are continually looking for volunteers to help with school events, field trips, and other school needs. Join the C7 Parents, Volunteers, Families facebook page to stay updated on volunteer opportunities.

To become an approved volunteer complete the on-line Volunteer Application https://www.brevardschools.org/page/volunteers and then go directly to the BPS district office to be fingerprinted with District & School Security. There is a $35 Application fee has been waived until further notice. Please contact Alicia Lenderman with any questions.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with the STAR Store once a month during student lunch hours from 10:15AM - 1:00PM. Click on the QR code to sign up for the dates you are available. We are looking for help on January 23rd, February 20th, April 24th, and May 22nd.

All birthday treats brought to school must be store bought. For student safety, homemade treats will not be distributed. Did you know our cafeteria can provide a variety of birthday treats for your child? See the order form below for options and pricing. All orders must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the event.

Did you know we offer before and after school care? Services are offered from 6:30AM - 7:30AM and 2:30PM - 6:00PM. We will also be offering additional services for a separate fee during the three weeks of intercession.
