It is with great honor that I announce Chico High's Mock Trial Team beat the defending champions LP by over 100 points! Our prosecution team won a guilty verdict, this was difficult as the court case was an alleged kidnapping without a ton of concrete evidence. Our defense team was able to argue a not guilty verdict and set their client free! The students also won 13 individual awards and were compared to having a college level performance by Judge Rodriguez.
