HCS DINNER AUCTION ⛺
A MAJOR CONGRATULATIONS GOES TO .....
Mr. Patriquin!!
Last spring, Mr. Patriquin wrote for a small grant award. The objective of this grant is to fund bus trips within Mascoutah to enable more visits and strengthen the bond between the students and teachers of Holy Childhood of Jesus School and the elderly members of Mascoutah who otherwise might not get the chance to socialize with our students.
This week, we were informed we had been selected! This grant will take care of transportation costs to get our students to the retirement homes.
In addition, one of the items in Fund-A-Need this year at our Dinner Auction (cheap plug there; information below) will be an awesome classroom technological tool that can be used both here and with the elderly in the community. It is called the Beam Mobile. Check out the 2 links here. And, again, great job to Mr. Patriquin!
