We Can't Wait for the First Day of School on Wednesday!
I can't wait to see all of our Wranglers back at the Ranch on Wednesday! This newsletter contains important Back-To-School reminders for the first day including drop-off and pick-up information, school map, and more. Please be sure to read the entirety of this newsletter and don't forget it is very important that all families complete the Back-to-School checklist provided below.
Back-To-School Checklist
- Complete the annual updates. Information on how to complete these updates is provided below.
- Complete the meal application. Even though meals will once again be free to all students, it is VERY important that all families complete this application as it provides much more than a meal for our students. Please see below for a link for the meal application. We also have paper copies in the office should you need one.
- Join and support our PTA. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful PTA who helps provide many of the wonderful programs we are able to provide our students including Makerspace, Art, Music, PE, and much more! Please visit the PTA website where you can join PTA, donate to our annual Wrangler Fund, purchase yearbooks, as well as additional items.
- Student Insurance is available to students. This is optional.
- Technology Insurance is also available for students. Technology Insurance helps replace any student technology that may get damaged or destroyed. This is optional.
As always, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to our office. We can't wait to see our Wranglers on the first day of school!

IMPORTANT BACK-TO-SCHOOL INFORMATION
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Guidelines
We have two drop-off and pick-up lines available for students in Grades 1-5:
- Sandhurst Ave - Enter the parking lot and drive towards the school. Please follow our campus safety assistant instructions as the are guiding the flow of traffic. We ask that all cars drive up as far as possible towards Gate 1. Students can exit the car and walk to the entrance of the appropriate gate. When exiting the pick-up/drop-off line, it is a right turn only. Cars should continue past the Whitechapel/Sandhurst stop to exit the area. This is very important as it allows our traffic flow to remain smooth and safe for everyone. It takes all of us to adhere to the guidelines and Campus Supervisor instructions to create a safe and calm drop-off and. pick-up.
- Grade Level Entrances - By entering through the recommended gates, it will ensure the best traffic flow. However, students accompanying siblings or in another situation are permitted to enter at whichever gate is easiest.
- Gate 1: TK
- Gate 2: Kindergarten
- Gate 3: Grades 1, 2, and 3
- Gate 4/5: Grades 3, 4, and 5
- Knightsbridge Ave - Enter the parking lot through the main entrance on Whitechapel Place. Follow the towards the exit. We ask that all cars pull forward as far as possible to help with the flow of traffic. Students can exit the car and use Gate 4. Gate 4 is optimal for Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 5 students.
Additional Drop-Off & Pick-Up Reminders
A couple of reminders for drop-off and pick-up:
- Do not stop or wait in red zones or in front of driveways or exits.
- Students should be ready to exit the vehicle immediately. Please have their backpack ready to go in an accessible spot. Do not stop and get out to retrieve a backpack while in the drop-off line. If you need more time to exit the vehicle, please park on side streets and walk your student to the entrance.
- Please pull as far forward as possible towards the exit of the pick-up line.
- Please use crosswalks. Do not cross the street where there is not a crosswalk. This is not safe.
- Please do not drop-off or pick-up students for arrival or dismissal in the front office with the exception of TK pick-up and students who arrive late after 8:25am.
- Please be mindful and do not park in Staff Parking spots. We have staff members arriving throughout the day including at drop-off and pick-up time. Parents should park on the neighborhood streets and walk to campus.
