A Message From Your Principal
Dear Eames Way Families,
HAPPY SPRING! A huge thank you to all our families, students, and staff who took part in the Marshfield 5K last weekend! It was such a great event, and we’re so proud of everyone who joined in to support this cause. Your involvement truly makes our community stronger -- and our students are already excited about doing it again next year!
On Monday we kicked off our celebration of St. Patrick’s Day with lots of fun activities. One of the highlights was seeing our students excitedly check their leprechaun traps! While the traps were empty, the leprechauns left behind some special notes for the students, which brought even more joy and magic to the day. We’ll be sure to try again next year!
On Tuesday, students in grades 2, 3, and 4 had the opportunity to attend the Neurodiversity Fair! It was a fantastic event that helped our students learn more about neurodiversity and the importance of understanding and embracing all differences. A huge thank you to all of the Eames Way Staff and volunteers who facilitated this event and educated our students. Your dedication to fostering inclusivity in our school community is truly appreciated! On Thursday our 4th graders enjoyed another wonderful enrichment about "Forces and Energy" thanks to our PTO (see below) and on Friday we also celebrated World Down Syndrome Day by wearing wacky socks. It was a fun way to show our support and raise awareness. Thank you to everyone who joined in!
Finally, a quick reminder that report cards are now available online. Please take some time to review them, and we look forward to meeting with you next week for Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Thank you for your continued support. Let’s keep up the great work and have an amazing week ahead!
Warm regards,
Ms. Bishop
Principal

Nurse Update
March is National Nutrition Month!
A healthy eating pattern includes: A variety of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, fat-free and low-fat dairy products, a variety of protein foods, and oils.
Eating a healthy breakfast is associated with improved cognitive function (especially memory), reduced absenteeism, and improved mood.
Adequate hydration may also improve cognitive function in children and adolescents, which is important for learning.
The benefits of healthy eating reduce the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, iron deficiency, and dental cavities.
