Another competition, another record for TCHS Academic Decathlon! Our students competed at the State Competition on March 6 & March 8 in San Antonio. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
In LISD, we believe education is a shared responsibility between our district and the communities we serve.
Art
Twenty one student artworks from TCHS were selected to be in the LISD district art show at the MCL Grand Theater in Lewisville that was on display from February the 14-22. One student received 3rd place in ceramics and two students received the Principals choice award.
33 art students also participated in the UIL VASE art competition at Timbercreek HS on February 22. 29 received the highest rating of a 4 and 4 students received the second highest rating of a 3. One student is an alternate to advance to the State art competition for VASE in April.
