Enrollment Confirmation
It's officially time to confirm your enrollment for the 2024 - 2025 school year!
We are so grateful to all of our Insight PA families for choosing to partner with us in your children's educations. We look forward to continuing these partnerships during next school year (and beyond)!
Families have three choices for Enrollment Confirmation (called "Re-Registration" by Stride/K12) - Registering, Undecided, or Not Registering. You can let us know your choice by either responding directly to the text message you receive from Stride/K12, or you updating your status in the Parent Portal on your computer or in the K12 app.
If you have any questions or need assistance with the Re-Registration process, please contact one of our Strong Start Advisors, listed below by grade band.
Elementary - Mrs. Heather Clark (hclark@insightpa.org)
Middle School - Mrs. Valerie Marraccini (vmarraccini@insightpa.org)
High School - Ms. Jasmyn Day (jday@insightpa.org)
*If you are not returning to Insight PA next year, we will need a completed parent withdraw form that tells us where your child will be attending school. Our Student Records Team will send this form to those who select "Not Registering". When filling this form out, use 6/07/24 as your child's last date of enrollment.
A New Role for Mrs. Burke!
We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our Community Engagement Coordinator Team - Mrs. Chelsea Burke! Mrs. Burke is a familiar face to many of our Insight PA students and families, having previously served as a Special Education Paraprofessional. Mrs. Burke had this to say about her new position -
"I am honored and excited to transition into a role that builds, supports, and connects Insight PA, the students, our families, and our local regions. I look forward to being a part of a community that relies on each other for support, growth, and engagement. I believe that everyone can flourish and grow together when given the opportunity to be involved."

School Improvement Plan - We Need You!
Attention Parents, Guardians, LCs, and Students!
As we continue our efforts to create a more engaging and enriching educational environment for our students through our Comprehensive School Improvement (CSI) Plan, we have several exciting opportunities for you to share your thoughts and ideas with us.
CSI Steering Committee
Our CSI Steering Committee plays a crucial role in shaping the direction of our school and ensuring that the needs of our students are met. The involvement of our Insight PA parents, guardians, LCs, and students would bring valuable perspectives and insights that can contribute to the overall success of our school community.
This committee will meet in the spring to assess our need areas and identify if the strategies outlined in our current CSI Plan are effective and should continue, or if additional strategies are necessary. Committee meetings will be held quarterly and continue into next school year as we assess our progress and make changes to the plan if needed.
If you are interested in joining the CSI Steering Committee or would like more information, please use the links below to complete our interest forms.
CSI Surveys
We are also asking all parents, guardians, LCs, and students in grades 3-12 to share their thoughts with us in our School Improvement Surveys. The feedback you provide will help us better understand what is working and not working for your family, and ensure that we are meeting the needs of all our students. You can access the survey by clicking the links below.
These surveys should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and will remain open through April 2, 2024 . Your answers will be anonymous and all questions are optional - if there is a question that does not apply to your experience at our school, you do not need to answer it.
State Testing Reminders
PSSA and Keystone testing assignments have all been sent out through email. If you are unable to find this information in your inbox, please search for "ISPA Testing" in your spam/junk folder or your child's email.
All families must click the “Click here to RSVP” link in the email from Testing Nirvana to indicate if you will be attending. Any students who do not attend their scheduled testing dates will receive unexcused absences for these days.
After clicking the RSVP link, you will have the option to confirm or not confirm. If you select “not confirm”, you will be asked to choose a reason from a drop down menu and will be contacted for more information.
Questions about state testing? Contact Nichol Laskey at nilaskey@insightpa.org.
National Autism Conference - Parent/Caregiver Scholarships
The 28th Annual National Autism Conference will be taking place in Harrisburg, PA from August 5 - 8, 2024. This conference provides comprehensive, evidence-based information to assist educators, other professionals, and families in developing effective educational programming for all students with autism spectrum disorders.
A variety of scholarship opportunities for both in-person and virtual attendance at the conference are available to Pennsylvania residents who have a school-age child with a current IEP or a child who receives Early Intervention.
Visit the link below to learn more about the conference and scholarships. Parent Scholarship Applications can be submitted between March 30th - May 30th.
Community Advisory Council
Insight PA Cyber Charter School is seeking additional members for our Community Advisory Council. This group of volunteers meets with the Insight PA Manager of Communications and members of the school leadership team throughout the school year to provide input and feedback on school programs, policies, and issues. In addition, members are asked to serve as liaisons between the school and Insight PA parents, guardians, and learning coaches in their respective regions.
Any Insight PA parents, guardians, and learning coaches who are interested in becoming a part of this group are invited to learn more and apply using the button links below. If you have any questions, contact our Director of Communications at sstell@insightpa.org.

Focus on Federal Programs
What is Title I?
Title I, Part A of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), is a federal program that provides financial assistance to schools. This funding is used to provide additional academic support and learning opportunities for students at schools with high percentages of economically disadvantaged children. The program is intended to help ensure that all students meet or exceed challenging state academic standards.
The goals of Title I are to:
- Increase academic achievement
- Provide direct instructional support to students
- Provide professional development for teachers
- Promote parent and family education and engagement
Parent and Family Engagement
Insight PA believes that Parent and Family Engagement is of paramount importance to student success. Every Title I school, in collaboration with parents, must prepare a school level Parent and Family Engagement policy. The Parent and Family Engagement Policy describes how the school will involve families in an organized, ongoing, and timely way, in the planning, review, and improvement of the Title I program at their school.
Right to Know
This letter lets you know about your right to request information about the qualifications of classroom staff working with your child and information about student assessments given during the school year.
*Visit our Federal Programs page to learn more or use the links below to view our Title I documents for the 2023 - 2024 school year, available in English, Spanish, Russian, and Arabic. If you have suggestions, questions, or concerns about any of the Federal Programs at Insight PA, please contact Johanna Best, Director of Reporting and Compliance at jbest@insightpa.org.
