Representation Needed for the Kilgour Multi-Cultural Fair
Our school is rich with culture. Please consider helping us showcase the vast array of cultures that our school represents.
We only have 9 volunteers signed up for the Multicultural Fair. We need between 18-22 volunteers to make the fair a success. We will have to cancel the fair if we do not have enough volunteers. We have representatives from Mexico, India, Poland, Scotland and Hungary. We can have more than one representative from each country.
Deadline for signing up: Friday, April 5, 2024
Ohio State Testing is on the Horizon
As we begin 4th quarter we'd like to share some testing dates so you are aware of what's coming just after spring break. The OST's (Ohio State Tests) are a key measurement used to determine how Kilgour is doing as a school at educating our students. Our students' test performance reflect not only on our school but our district. It's critical that students are present and ready for testing.
Here are a few test prep tips:
π Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before
π Make sure your child has a healthy breakfast the morning of testing
π Have your child dress comfortably
π Try to make the morning routine non-stressful
π Arrive to school on time
π Encourage them to try their best
