Congratulations to the Lady Yellow Jackets on their recent achievements in Softball. The team worked so hard this this and the Yellow Jacket Family could not be any prouder. Here are the District 12-A Awards:

The Band of Gold drum majors and leadership team attended their first camp of the summer with Steven Moss. Mr. Moss has over 25 years of experience specifically building student leaders and state honor bands. Mr. Moss is the the current Fine Arts Director at Castleberry ISD and a leader of multiple state honor bands with national recognitions.

The band leaders gained a better understanding of how being committed with a purpose builds stronger life skills in the band hall and in their community. Hayden Cummings, drum major, said, "One of the takeaways from camp was learning how to control myself in situations I wouldn't normally see myself in. Leadership has many layers. Adapting is important.
