Training and Support Team Mission Statement
The Training and Support Team collaborates with end users to adapt in an ever-changing technology environment. Providing support and information, we empower effortless use of devices, applications, and software. In keeping with the District's vision, we strive to foster learning by serving the Conroe ISD community with knowledge, patience, and kindness.
Training and Support Team Values
Members of the Training and Support Team are Knowledgeable, Collaborative, Reliable, Adaptable, Patient, and have Integrity.
EDUPHORIA
- Student Access Lists allow rostered teachers access to custom lists of students. This enchanted feature also lets any user with an Eduphoria account craft their own custom list of students for eerie analysis. 🎃🕸️ Here’s how.
NOTE: Your administrator needs to approve the Student Access List in order for you to have access
- Within Online Testing Settings, test authors can toggle on to “Prevent tests from being reopened in Test Proctoring after student submission”. Teachers and administrators can apply this setting to any test type.

🎃 Great news the “Send To” feature is back in action for new quizzes! You can now send out those new quizzes with ease and flair. Here’s how to use the “Send To” Feature
🎃 As of June 30, 2024, Google Cloud assignments are taking a permanent vacation from their old format. 🌴✈️ To keep the good times rolling, you'll need to give them a quick makeover. No worries—here’s how to convert them to a Google Assignment.
🎃 Guess what’s new? 🎉 Users can now search course content by asking questions just like you would in a conversation (“What do pandas eat?”). Thanks to the latest AI magic, Smart Search understands the meaning behind your question and finds the right info, not just keywords. Smart Search is located in your course sidebar navigation.

CHROMEBOOK NEWS
EDU WIFI Profile Updated for Chromebooks
- The EDU WIFI Profile has been updated for Chromebooks.
- The update was pushed out to all Chromebooks in July.
- When your Chromebook first turns on it should connect automatically to the updated EDU WIFI Profile.
- Follow these EDU WIFI Troubleshooting tips if any of your Chromebooks fail to connect correctly to the updated EDU WIFI Profile.
LTS (Long Term Support) Channel
- Google has changed the LTS or Long-Term Support channel for Chromebooks from Chrome OS 114 to Chrome OS 120.
- You may see your Chromebooks update from Chrome OS 114 to Chrome OS 120 on their own and that is normal and intended.
- If your Chromebooks do not update automatically, you can follow these steps to manually update them to ChromeOS 120.

- If you want to check the ChromeOS version of your Chromebook follow this helpful guide to learn how to do so.
- The following Chromebook Models can no longer receive updates so you do not need to try and update them, and they should not be used for testing:
- Old Dell 11 Chromebooks
- Old HP 11 Chromebooks (G5/G5 EE or below)
- Chromebooks that are already at Chrome OS 120 or above do not need to be updated.
- They are ready to be used for all testing purposes.
iPAD NEWS
