PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Hello Eagle Crest Families,
As we wrap up another stretch of learning and growing together, I want to take a moment to celebrate the amazing work our students have been doing. They've been diving into focused academic preparation, exploring innovative learning experiences, and embracing the joy of being part of such a wonderful school community. Their hard work and enthusiasm make Eagle Crest a truly special place, and we couldn’t be prouder!
I’m also excited to share that Ms. Maria Torres has been named our Teacher of the Year and is being honored by the St. Vrain Valley Education Foundation! Ms. Torres brings so much heart, passion, and dedication to her students every day, and we’re lucky to have her. On top of that, seven staff members from across our school were nominated for this honor, which speaks volumes about the incredible team we have at Eagle Crest. Let’s take a moment to appreciate and celebrate them all!
As we head into Spring Break, I just want to say a huge thank you to our families for your continued support. I hope you all have a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy some time together. We’ll be excited to welcome everyone back, refreshed and ready for all the great things ahead!
Warmly,
Amanda

DEAN OF STUDENTS’ UPDATE
Hello, Eagle Crest Families!
As Spring Break approaches, we encourage students to relax, have fun, and keep their love of reading alive while they're away. If you're looking for a way to keep your students engaged with reading, there’s an exciting Spring Break Reading Challenge! Students can explore a wide variety of books, audiobooks, and magazines on myON and Sora using their iPads. We’ll have individual reading challenge winners, and we’ll also compete against other schools for the most minutes read.
Wishing you a safe, restful, and fun Spring Break! Our students and teachers have been working hard, and this break will be a great way to recharge for an amazing finish to the year.
All the best,
Lindsey Cheney

Volunteer Opportunity for 2025-2026
Remember the first time you brought your incoming kindergartener to the playground and got to meet new friends and speak with current families? Do your kids miss seeing friends over the summer break? PTO is looking for a volunteer to assist with planning and executing summer and kindergarten playdates. We anticipate this role taking less than a half hour a week, with all the work done before school even starts! This would be a fun one to share with a friend. If interested, please contact secretary@eaglecrestpto.com.

KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT
If you have a rising Kindergarten student or know a family with a child who will turn five before October 1st, now is the time to register for Kindergarten! Early registration allows us to plan effectively for teachers and resources by giving us a clearer picture of our incoming student numbers. We are also currently accepting students through open enrollment, so even if a family does not live within our immediate neighborhood, they may still apply to join our Eagle Crest community. To learn more and complete the enrollment process, visit SVVSD Enrollment. We are happy to offer Kindergarten tours—just contact the main office to schedule one. It’s always a joy to welcome new families to Eagle Crest!
