ARHS Updates
It’s been a busy week for our Patriot Family. We successfully navigated our first major testing day, with students efficiently finding their assigned testing rooms and being well prepared. Upperclassmen also knew exactly where to go for study hall. Thank you to our families for partnering with us to ensure students were ready for testing!
This is an excellent time to check student grades and discuss their overall progress in their courses. We encourage students to reach out to their teachers for assistance, utilize the after-school help available, or take advantage of the National Honor Society (NHS) peer tutoring support. The NHS offers study groups in the media center from Monday to Thursday until 3 p.m., where NHS student members are available to help with homework and test preparation.
As a reminder, our after-school program focused on SAT/ACT preparation has been running for a week and will continue to run Monday through Friday until 4:30 p.m. English and Math teachers will be available each day to assist with preparation and any questions in these subjects. Additionally, please note that we will have an early release on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024. Let’s continue to work together for a successful school year!

A Note from Student Relations
Hello Patriot Families!
September is National Attendance Awareness Month. The month of September can have huge implications on annual attendance rates and can help set the tone for a successful school year.
Students who miss between two and four days in the month of September are five times more likely to be chronically absent throughout the school year than those who missed less than 2 days during the month.
We are proud to continue our partnership with our ARH families and collective commitment to increase our daily student attendance rates. Our goal is for all patriots to be in class, on time, all the time. All day, every day, the Patriot Way!
Let’s make this the best week yet!
