Fall Parent Teacher Conferences are quickly approaching and we are all looking forward to meeting with each of you to discuss how your child is making progress here at school. Conferences are the week of October 14th. Please mark the following school schedule for that week on your calendar:

10/14 - 10/16: 3pm Dismissal Days

10/17 & 10/18: 11:35am Dismissal Days

You should have received an email from your child’s teacher that will include a sign up link for Parent Teacher Conferences. Please email your teacher if you did not receive the link. We look forward to this time with you as we focus on your child’s success here at Norterra Canyon.

We are excited to have our school wide day of STEM learning on Oct. 18. This day aims to promote interest and engagement in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It serves as a platform for students to utilize problem solving skills and collaborate with each other.

Gen Tech will be working with our middle school students. They will be bringing a programable robot and teaching the students to debug the program. Thank you to Mrs. Antunes our amazing STEM/Design teacher for setting this up.

Watch DOGS: NCPTSA is proud to bring the Watch DOGS to our campus. This nationally recognized program promotes family and community engagement by highlighting the importance Fathers and Father Figures have in education. During our scheduled 1:30pm early release days our NC teachers analyze student data & learning, collaborate on implementation of interventions, and work together to ensure we are providing a guaranteed & viable curriculum for ALL of our learners.
