Glacier Peak Grizzlies
Create, Play, Learn, Balance Your Path to Success!
Friday, August 30th 2024
Dear Glacier Peak Families,
Welcome to September! As we settle into the new school year, I’m excited to see the energy and enthusiasm that your children bring to our halls each day. This month, we continue to embrace our theme, "Create, Play, Learn: Balance our path to success." Expect more engaging lessons, fun activities, and opportunities for our students to shine.
I’d like to invite all parents and guardians to join us for a parent meeting on Wed. Sept 4th at 8 am. in the school library. This is a great opportunity to learn about our plans for the year, share your ideas, and help create fun evening events for all to enjoy. Your involvement makes a big difference in our school community!
Let’s make this September a month of growth, connection, and joy!
Warm regards,
Jeanna Costa
Principal

Important Reminders
I would like to share some reminders for our year to run smooth:
- DO NOT get out of your vehicles while in the "hug-n-go" lane.
- In the Hug and GO near the tennis courts, pull up ALL the WAY up. Do not stop in front of the stairs. It is healthy and safe for your child to walk to the stairs.
- Parents and students are to walk their bikes or scooters once on school property.
Snack & Drinks (New Policy)
Reminder:
Only water is allowed in the classroom (not even flavored water). Please be mindful when packing snacks—if it’s not something you’d allow on the couch, it’s best left at home. Thank you for helping us maintain a tidy learning environment!
- Any other drink is ONLY allowed during lunch in the cafeteria.
