GLOW GAZETTE
WEEK OF MAY 6, 2024
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
GLOW Students & Families,
This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week, and when it comes to AMAZING educators we have so much to be grateful for at GLOW Academy! In addition to fulfilling the typical responsibilities of all teachers, our staff goes above and beyond to offer our students unique opportunities that extend outside the walls of our classrooms. I so appreciate the work our teachers do to meet the individual current needs of our students while preparing each of them for a successful future beyond high school.
Please take just a moment to reach out to your student's teachers this week to thank them for the work they do! We are so fortunate that our teachers continue to choose GLOW. I am blessed to serve such an incredible group of educators, and our students are so fortunate to learn from each of them. Additionally, we have included some easy free/low cost ideas below for showing appreciation to GLOW teachers this week. We hope you'll check it out!
As we head into the final weeks of the school year, there are many announcements and reminders to share with you. Please read through the newsletter below, so you don't miss any important info.
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
Kate B. Tayloe
Principal

Chromebooks & Chargers
All Chromebooks and chargers were collected on Friday. If your student was absent or forgot their Chromebook and/or Charger, please be sure they turn that in to their Leadership Advisory teacher on Monday of this week. (EXCEPTION: Student enrolled in a Virtual Academy course can keep their device and charger until their virtual course is completed.)
I have learned that while most of our Chromebooks were returned on Friday, MANY chargers were not. Please look around your homes and find those for return. We will begin to invoice families for missing chargers at the end of this week.
