A Message from Principal Bell
Dear PCI Students and Families,
Welcome to the inaugural year of The Promise Career Institute! It is with great excitement and anticipation that I introduce myself as your new principal, Yalanda Bell. Together, we are about to embark on a journey filled with new opportunities, challenges, and achievements.
As the doors of our brand-new school open for the first time, we are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued, respected, and inspired to reach their full potential. Our state-of-the-art facilities, innovative curriculum, and dedicated staff are all geared towards providing an exceptional educational experience.
This year, we are focusing on building a strong sense of community. We encourage all students to get involved in the various clubs and activities that will be available. These opportunities will not only enhance your high school experience but also help you develop valuable skills and lifelong friendships.
Parents and guardians, your involvement is crucial to the success of our school community. We invite you to participate in school events, join the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), and stay connected with your child’s academic progress. Your support and collaboration are vital as we work together to create a nurturing environment for our students.
To ensure a smooth transition into the new school year, please take note of the following important dates:
Open House: August 1st from 2PM-6M – An opportunity for students and families to tour the school, meet teachers, and learn about our programs. Feel free to drop in anytime between 2PM and 6PM.
First Day of School: August 5th – 1st Bell is at 9:00. It will be a day filled with excitement and new beginnings.

Code of Conduct- Make sure that you and your student have reviewed the 24-25 Code of Conduct. To maintain academic focus, students are not permitted to use their cell phones during class.
As we begin this journey together, I am confident that we will create a legacy of success and pride at The Promise Career Institute. FCS will be providing transportation for our magnet students! The PCI Magnet Bus will depart from and return to each magnet student’s zoned school.
To make this process smooth and easy, parents will need to drop off their students at their zoned school on time to catch the PCI Magnet Bus, and pick them up from their zoned school after the bus drops them off.
