The Dashboard features easy-to-read reports on multiple measures of school success. The Dashboard represents one of many steps taken over the past decade that have raised the bar for student learning, increased the focus on equity, and expanded the review of performance data to a specific set of state and local measures. Storytime with PYLUSD
Dear PYLUSD Community,
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Storytime with PYLUSD video series, where school administrators and district personnel share their favorite books to inspire a love of reading.
This series highlights reading as a key foundational skill, essential for success in all areas of learning—from science and social studies to technical fields—but also serves as a valuable tool to help parents support their child’s literacy development at home. As part of our Building Blocks of Success campaign, we encourage families to spend 20 minutes each evening reading together to help students build a strong foundation for the future.
New videos will be posted regularly on our YouTube channel, so don’t forget to like and subscribe to stay updated when a new story is released. Together, let’s nurture a lifelong love of learning, one story at a time!
Sincerely,
Dr. Olivia Yaung, Ed.D.
Assistant Superintendent, Educational Services
