A message from Eastview Middle School Counselors
School Counselors serve as a bridge between parents, staff, and community agencies. Our role is to encourage and support students to create aspirations, discover their strengths and identify their interests. We provide academic, social and emotional support to aid student's healthy transition to middle school. Throughout the school year your child's school counselor will hold academic meetings with students to review progress and help students build strong student habits.
School Counselors will provide counseling for social skills development and building healthy connections with peers and teachers. Social skills counseling can be in the form of individual meetings with students, peer mediations and support meetings with teachers. Your child will be able to explore their emotions while learning emotional regulation skills and how to effectively communicate and express feelings in a safe space. Our goal is to support our Tigers on their journey to being kind, empathetic, responsible global citizens.
