Grades 9, 10 and 11 Student Registration for 2025- 2026 School Year
Dear Parents of Current 9th, 10th and 11th Graders:
Greetings from Eagan High School! The purpose of this message is to provide you with timely information about our “online” registration process for next school year. The registration process will allow you and your students to have access to course information online and register online at home.
The following timeline is planned for grades 9, 10 and 11:
January 13
Start scanning the EHS curricular offerings for your student. The EHS Student Registration Guide is online on the EHS web site: Online Registration
You may search for courses by department or by name, in alphabetical order. Simply go to the EHS web site and click on Menu in the upper right hand corner. Then click the + next to Academics and then click Online Registration, finally click Registration Guide. Under Online Registration you can also find Online Registration Instructions and Registration Cards by Grade Level.
January 29-February 6
Current 9th, 10th and 11th graders will meet in their PAWS classes on January 29 to receive information and instructions related to the “online” registration process. With parent/guardian guidance, students must register online during this “open window” period of time. All instructions will be provided in PAWS on January 29. We expect each student, with parental knowledge and guidance, to be able to access the internet and complete the process.
If you have questions, please feel to contact your student’s counselor at 651-683-6921 or send them an email.

Pre-Planned Absence Procedure
Attendance Reminder:
Students absent 3 or more days for a pre-planned absence should complete the “Pre-Planned Authorization” form.
The forms are located in the EHS Attendance Office.
- The form should be completed and submitted prior to the planned absence. We recommend at least one week or more in advance.
- The student is responsible for arranging make-up assignments with all teachers before the absence to receive credit for the work.
- Vacation absences beyond 5 days will be marked as unexcused. These absences will count in the excessive absence policy.
College and University Visits
Students and parents should plan to visit college/university campuses on non-school days or outside of school hours. If this is not possible and students will be absent three or more school days, a Pre-Planned Authorization Form must be filled out, signed and authorized prior to the absence. If this process is followed, the absence will be verified. Forms are available in the attendance office.

Service Hours and GPA Reminder for Nat'l Honor Society Induction
If you have a sophomore student with a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.8, or a student in grades 10-11 with a Honors Status and a 3.6 GPA and above, they may be eligible for induction into the National Honor Society. Membership in the local chapter is a great honor that recognizes outstanding scholarship, service, leadership, and character in a student. To be considered for membership, eligible students must complete an application and information form. Although GPA is a primary factor in determining eligibility, students must also demonstrate leadership, service, and character.
TO MEET THE SERVICE REQUIREMENT, STUDENTS MUST DOCUMENT AT LEAST 24 HOURS OF SERVICE THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED BY ANOTHER ORGANIZATION FROM JUNE 2024 UNTIL THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
If you are hoping to apply for membership this April, make sure to fulfill the service hour requirement and complete your application on time. Once selected, members have the responsibility to continue demonstrating the qualities that earned them membership.
An Induction Ceremony will be held on May 19, 2025 for new inductees and returning members.
