National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

Save the Date: September 23rd 5:30-7:00 pm to attend the Forest Oak Back to School Night. This is a parent-only event, we ask that you please do not bring your students on this evening.

5:30-6:00 pm - The Nutrition Department will serve sample lunch menu items in the cafeteria
6:00 - 6:25 pm Classroom presentations
6:30-6:50 pm Unified Arts presentation in the Library
6:55 - 7:20 pm Classroom presentations

We hope to see you at the event to learn about your child's education this year at Forest Oak.

RCPAC is the Red Clay Parent Advisory Council. The organization is made up of 2-3 parents from each school that meet monthly to discuss topics that have been pre-selected by parent members. Each meeting provides dinner, child care, and access to resources for the topics discussed. I’ve included the meeting location, date & time for the SY25 Calendar below:

All meetings are at District Office (board room) unless otherwise noted. For each meeting, we will provide a zoom link in case parents are unable to attend in person.

Thank you for considering volunteer opportunities with Forest Oak Elementary School. Volunteers play an important role in the success of our school. It is Red Clay Consolidated School District's policy that all volunteers be screened before volunteering in any Red Clay school. If you plan to volunteer at any time during the school year, please complete the State of Delaware requirements -

The Confidentiaility Consent Form, TB Form and the Child Protective Registry link to register. There is a $14.00 fee to pay online, then give a copy of your receipt to the office to confirm registration.

Please understand this process is a State of Delaware requirement and for the safety and protection of all students and staff while on school grounds and school-sponsored field trips. If you have any questions regarding this process or have difficulty paying the fee, please contact us. Again, thank you for considering volunteer opportunities with Forest Oak Elementary.
