All Things Avondale: March 18, 2022

Students from AESD were invited to attend NASCAR activities at Phoenix Raceway on March 11th. The Speediatrics Fun Day Festival returned to Arizona this year and our kids were able to get hands on by changing tires, looking for lugnuts and more!

In an effort to continue to provide quality STEM experiences to students, Centerra Mirage is starting a drone team. The drones are extremely lightweight, safe to fly indoors and are programmable.

As part of the drone team, students will learn coding and execute their code on small indoor friendly Tello drones that will fly autonomously. CMSA anticipates the start of the team to meet late March. More details to come.

Lattie Coor would like to thank our preschool parents for their dedication and help in helping us beautify our garden area. Parents came together on a Saturday morning and helped us plant new seeds into our garden area.

We can't wait to see our garden and students grow each day here!
