IMAGINE Experience the Arts Gala February 7, 2025
We are looking for sponsors to partner with us for the Imagine Gala and help make a lasting
impact on the future of arts education at LVA! By becoming a sponsor, your business will be
prominently recognized at this premier event, while you’ll also directly support the programs that
nurture creativity and excellence in our students. Let’s create something extraordinary together!
Important Reminder - Parents Have Three Days to Excuse Absences
A friendly reminder to parents and guardians, please excuse absences for your student(s) within three days of their return to school. More than eight unverified absences in a single class during the semester will result in a denial of credit. Absences must be excused with documentation, even if it is only for a single class period. Students may submit excuse notes in the Student Success Center, and parents or guardians may use the Student Absence Form located on the LVA homepage.
Nominate an Outstanding STEM Teacher [Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics]
You know the vital role STEM educators play in teaching our country’s future. Nominating a teacher from your school for a Presidential Award is just one small way you can thank them for their work.
The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) program is now accepting nominations for 7-12th grade STEM teachers. Awardees receive a certificate signed by the President; a trip to Washington, D.C., to attend a series of recognition events and professional development opportunities; and a $10,000 award from the National Science Foundation.
Do you know a teacher deserving of this incredible honor? Nominate them today! We welcome multiple nominations if you know more than one teacher deserving of this award. The application deadline is February 6, 2025.
Reminder! Nominate an Outstanding LVA Educator for "Teacher of the Game!"
West Coast Trial Lawyers, in partnership with UNLV Athletics and the Clark County School District Engagement Unit, are proud to announce the Teacher of the Game Recognition Program.
