Students and staff at China Primary School celebrated local heroes with a Veteran's Day assembly on Thursday November 7th. Veterans of our students were invited in for an assembly in their honor. Music teacher Josh Bickford taught each student at China Primary the song This Land is Your Land and the whole student body sang together. Children of our honored guests led the school in the pledge of allegiance and members of our 4th grade class presented a shared speech teaching us about Veterans Day. The celebration was enjoyed by all! China Primary School loves and supports our veterans!

We just donated a very large pile of lost and found items. Please label your child's clothing so lost items can be easily returned.

Cooler weather has arrived! Our students go outside for recess every day unless the temperature is below 10 degrees so please help your child be prepared for recess with appropriate gear for playing outside including boots (and sneakers for inside especially on PE days), jacket, ski pants, hats and mittens/gloves. We do not keep items on hand for daily usage, as we would prefer these items come from home to maintain hygiene and reduce the items in our lost & found.

CPS Family Math Night is Tuesday, November 19th, from 4:30 to 5:30. Join us for games you can play with cards, dice, and a few counting tools. We will have an estimation jar, math art projects, and giveaways!
