TRIO FESP Tutoring
There will be no tutoring during Thanksgiving Break.
Bronco Study Zone
The BSZ offers an array of resources through a one-stop model to support students and just the right amount of structure to help keep them on track. Services include:
- · Free drop-in assistance for highly challenging courses.
- · Group collaboration on course assignments.
- · Logging mandatory study hours for instructors and organizations.
- · Assistance with coping with test anxiety, effective note taking, time management and test taking strategies among others.

Scholarship Opportunities
TRIO FESP GRANT AID
Available to TRIO FESP participants who will have freshman or sophomore status during Spring 2022 through Summer II 2022 semesters and have a Pell Grant for the 2021-22 academic year.

2021- 2022 MI CAPP Education Endowment and Study Abroad Award
These scholarships are for any TRIO FESP participant who has been enrolled in TRIO FESP for at least 1 calendar year as of the time of application submission.

Important Note: These scholarship applications require students to work closely with a TRIO FESP staff member to complete the application packet and provide nomination. You will need to schedule an appointment with Myia or Nateya at least two weeks prior to the due date. We want our students to have the best possible application packet and to ensure this, we need to work together! Please submit application materials no later than Friday November 19, 2021.

First Generation Celebration Events
In 2017, the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) and the Center for First-generation Student Success launched the inaugural First-Generation College Celebration! Given the continued success of this event, COE and the Center now partner to make this celebration an annual event.
Please stop by on November 8 from 11:00-2:00 p.m. (Sangren lobby) and 5:00-7:00 p.m. (Bernhard Center) to celebrate our first Gen students!
