Letter From Ms. Brito
Dear Washington Families,
Happy Summer Break! We made it to the end of another school year, I wanted to take a moment to extend my gratitude to each and every one of you for support and partnership this year. A special thanks to the Washington PTO for providing popsicles after school and sponsoring the end of year picnic yesterday.
It brought me such joy to watch the students, staff and parents at dismissal yesterday and despite some tears, there were many more smiles and laughs. The tears and laughter alike remind me of the power of connection and important role we all share in caring for and educating your children.
As partners in your child's education, we encourage you to continue fostering a love for learning over the summer break. Whether it's through reading together, exploring new hobbies, or engaging in educational activities, your involvement in their ongoing education is so important.
As we say goodbye to our fifth graders moving over to Lincoln, we also extend our best wishes to those transitioning to new grades or schools. We are confident that they are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead!
I also want to express my sincere appreciation to our Washington staff for their dedication and commitment to the success and well-being of our students. Their passion for teaching, nurturing, and inspiring young minds is incredible, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with them every day.
I want to wish you all a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer break. May it be filled with laughter, relaxation, and cherished moments with loved ones. Thank you again for your continued support, and I look forward to welcoming you back for another successful school year in August.
Warm regards,
Angie
