RoBee Report
Week of August 5th
Principal Welcome!
First Week of Classes!
Dear Global Impact Academy Families,
Welcome to the new school year at Global Impact Academy! We are thrilled to have our students return and embark on another journey of learning and growth. Our dedicated team of educators has been working tirelessly to prepare an enriching curriculum that not only meets academic standards but also fosters critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness. Our theme this year is "Learning for Impact, to Succeed Globally!" and we plan on doing just that!
As we kick off this exciting new chapter, we encourage you to stay engaged and involved in your child's education. Open communication between families and the school is key to our collective success. Please take advantage of the various resources and support systems we have in place, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Together, we can ensure that this school year is productive, enjoyable, and impactful for all. Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Here's to a fantastic year ahead
Educationally Yours,
Johnathan Hall

Sidewalks are coming!
The City of Fairburn will begin installing sidewalks on Shaw Drive for the month of August. They will continue on to Fairview Drive the following month. Please note that Shaw Drive will become a one lane street from 9:00am-3:00pm beginning on August 5th. It is imperative to get your student to school between 8:00am-8:55am to ensure you beat the traffic! We are excited about these new safety measures being added to keep our students safe!
Arrival Information
The building opens up at 8:00am Monday-Friday. Students who are car riders may enter from the side entrance of the school and make their way to the Commons until the bell rings. The front doors will open up at 8:30am. Bus riders will enter from the rear of the school once they arrive.
Transportation Information
Please see above for Bus departure and arrival times. Students should be dropped off to their home school by the time the bus departs to ensure they make it to GIA on time.

Updated Code of Conduct 2024-2025
We have included a copy of the 2024-2025 Code of Conduct below. While we do not anticipate any issues, I want to ensure parents and students are made aware of the Designated Attendance Zone School Clause which can also be found below:
Designated Attendance Zone School
Students attending a school outside of their designated attendance zone is a privilege. Any student attending a school outside of their designated attendance zone per Board policy AD School Attendance Zones who receives a long-term suspension or expulsion will lose their privilege to attend the school or program outside their designated attendance zone school. For clarity, “designated attendance zone school” refers to any school of the District a student attends other than the student’s home/zone school. This does not refer to schools/programs a student is placed into for special education services pursuant to an IEP team decision
