Superintendent Community Update

Superintendent's Message
Dear JUHSD Community,
Next week will bring the beginning of September! As we enter this new month, the energy and possibilities for the school year are evident across our District. The strength of our educational community plays a crucial role in the success of our students and the district as a whole, and I want to extend my gratitude to each of you for fostering this supportive environment!
Last week, we kicked off the Back to School Night events at Jefferson and continued at Westmoor and Terra Nova this week. It was wonderful to see the engaging presentations, explore the classrooms, and observe the vibrant interactions between our dedicated staff, students, and their families. The positive and nurturing atmosphere within our schools is inspiring, and I’m looking forward to visiting our other campuses for their Back to School Night events in the coming weeks.
As we head into the Labor Day weekend, I encourage everyone to take a moment to relax, recharge, and enjoy some well-deserved time off!
Remember that my door is always open, and I am here to support you.
Warm regards,
Toni Presta
Superintendent

The evening kicked off with a fantastic performance by the Terra Nova Band, followed by Principal Carey sharing highlights of TN’s incredible programs, athletics, and academics.
In front of the gym, the Terra Nova Boosters, Terra Nova Educational Foundation, and PTA set up informative tables, ensuring families could connect and learn more about the Terra Nova community. The night was filled with energy and enthusiasm, and classroom presentations further showcased the excellence that Terra Nova offers.
