Lindley Elementary Weekly Update

Teachers are sending home EOG results with students by this week.

Students who were absent for any testing sessions last week will be completing make up tests this week.

On testing days, please ensure your child is well rested, arrives to school on time and eats a healthy breakfast.

Please leave cell phones, smart watches and other electronic devices at home so they do not disrupt the testing environment!

Exciting News! Field Day is almost here on Monday, June 3rd! In case of rain, we'll have an equally fun time on Tuesday, June 4th! Get ready because this year's theme is the OLYMPICS!! 🏅🎉

Here are a couple of important details:
The sign-up sheets are split this year between K-2 and 3-5!
K-2 activities will take place on the lower field, while 3-5 will be on the upper field on the Camden side!
Mr. Amana has some AMAZING EVENTS in store for everyone! There will be activities with water and some without, so don't forget to pack a change of clothes for your child!
Remember to pack a water bottle and slather on that sunscreen for a fantastic day ahead! ☀️💦🌟

Report cards will be sent home with students.

We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to teach your child this school year! We hope you have a safe and enjoyable summer!

Our office is open Monday through Thursdays 8:00 to 4:00 PM during the summer. We are close on June 19th for the Juneteenth Holiday and the week of July 1st for the Independence Day Holiday.

Student schedules and teacher assignments will be finalized by Open House on August 22nd. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Smith.

Open House will be Thursday August 22nd from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We are staggering our Open House schedule. Please arrive at the time that corresponds to the first letter of your child’s last name.

S-Z 5:00 pm-5:30 pm

The first day of school will be Monday August 26th!

7:00: Student arrival begins

7:25: Tardy Bell

2:10: Student dismissal

The loop in front of the school and Camden Road are very busy with cars and buses in the afternoons. It is very important that students and families are aware of traffic and their surroundings. Cross the road at designated crosswalks and follow the directions of staff. Children must be in close proximity of an adult and be properly supervised.
