Buy Your School Supplies!

It's that time of year again! Ross families are asked to contribute $100/student to cover the cost of school supplies for the coming year. You can place your order here!


The PTA provides collected funds to Ross teachers to purchase what they need for their students and classrooms. This saves parents a trip to the store and ensures equity among students.


Please order your children's school supply packages by August 19th! In your order, you can also donate additional funds to help support families who aren't able to cover the full amount.

Donate with AmazonSmile

Support the Ross PTA with your Amazon purchases by using AmazonSmile, which will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the charitable organization of your choice.


To use AmazonSmile, go to smile.amazon.com on your web browser or activate AmazonSmile in the Amazon Shopping app.


Then, simply select "Ross-School Parent Teacher Association" in Washington, DC as your chosen charity!

Safeway Fundraiser

The Ross PTA is partnering with Safeway Foundation and the Safeway store at 17th and Corcoran to raise funds to support our school.


During the month of August, show your school spirit by making a monetary donation at this Safeway location. All funds raised by this store will be donated to Ross School PTA.

Get Cleared to Chaperone Field Trips

In order to chaperone class field trips, you must complete the DCPS volunteer clearance process.


We encourage all parents/guardians to obtain volunteer clearance before school starts, so you can help with class field trips.

DC United Tickets!

Because it was such a hit last spring, the Ross PTA has again reserved a block of discounted tickets ($27 ea) for the DC United game vs. Inter Miami CF on Sun. Sept 18 at 5PM. Ross students will be able to join in a group photo on the field after the game!

If your family would like to attend, but is unable to cover the cost, please let Principal Searl know. The PTA has set aside funds to help make it possible for more families to join.

Request: Complete D.C. Education Governance Survey

The D.C. State Board of Education (SBOE) invites all residents—students, parents, guardians, and community members—to fill out a brief survey sharing their experiences with the current education system in D.C. as they consider recommendations for what education governance should look like for D.C. residents.


Submit responses no later than Friday, July 30 at 5 p.m. If you have any questions, please reach out to the State Board at Darren.Fleischer@dc.gov.
