The Cedar Ridge Weekly
August 23, 2020
Message from Dr. Ramirez
You did it! You successfully traversed your first week of remote learning. Our remote learning platform provided educational experiences for nearly 1,100 students. I enjoyed dropping in some classes and seeing students and staff members engaged in virtual learning. While starting off well, we need to do more to ensure that all of our students are fully engaged and maximizing their learning experiences.
To our students, you made us proud with your focus and determination to get back on track with your learning. Thank you for working with us through the technology start-up issues and going with the flow. Thank you for being a Red Wolff. Your input in making remote learning work best for you is important. When your teachers ask what they can do to make your experience better, please be transparent and honest. We really want to know. So far, the resounding feedback from you is this: Teach me!
To our parents: To say that we are thankful for your patience and understanding would be an understatement. Thank you for partnering with us, staying tuned, and learning new ways to engage with your students and the school. More than ever, your child's education is a collaboration between home and school. We are honored to work with you in this new capacity.
With appreciation,
Dr. Ramirez
