Good Afternoon Woodbury Middle School Community,
We hope you enjoyed the weekend. Our weatherman tells us to be ready to flip the switch to summer in the next couple of days. The high 80s and even 90s are expected. So much for those beautiful spring days we all enjoy.
As we approach the end of the school year, we're excited to invite you to our WMS Spring Music Concert and Art Show, taking place this Wednesday at 6:30. This event showcases the incredible artistic talents of our students, whose art is displayed throughout the school. We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early to appreciate the great work of our students. The concert will begin promptly at 6:30.
We thank our Alliance members for their outstanding work organizing a successful school Spirit Pep Rally. Our students participated in a variety of enjoyable activities, earning points for their respective grade levels. The rally was the highlight of a week filled with themed activities, where both staff and students dressed up. We are truly grateful for our Alliance members and their advisors.
Regarding the Alliance, our current 6th and 7th grade students will soon receive information about the application process for next year's Alliance group. As part of this process, a staff recommendation is necessary for each applicant. Additionally, our current Alliance members have established a mentorship program to assist with the application process. Students who need help with their application are encouraged to reach out to an Alliance member or Mr. Brutting. We eagerly anticipate the arrival of our new members.

As the year progresses, check in with your student's PowerSchool accounts for missing assignments. As always, remind them about our Warrior Way and how that may impact end-of-year activities.
