Sophomore and New Student Preview Day

August 16th, 2024

A special welcome to the Class of 2027 and all incoming new students. We are looking forward to you joining the rest of the Panther Family at the high school. We will be hosting a Preview Day for the incoming sophomore class and new students on Friday, August 16, from 7:25-10:00. Buses will be running that day. Students will be greeted in our new PAC by Mr. Bacon and the administrative team. They will have the opportunity to walk through their daily schedule and meet their teachers. Their morning will culminate with a short assembly facilitated by our Student Leadership Team. We hope to see you there!

FirstView Bus App

FirstView is a free bus tracking and parent communication app. FirstView allows families to track the location and direction of your child's bus; set up push or email notifications alerting you when your student's bus is a chosen distance from your stop, and options for messages about delays. Download the app for your iPhone or Android device. When setting up your profile, you will be asked to provide the District code. Note: If you registered your students for transportation for the 2024-25 school year, this code will be sent in an email late next week. More information

School Pictures Are On The First Day Of School

August 20, 2024

School pictures will be taken on the first day of school during English classes. A make up day for school pictures will be October 8, 2024. Pearce Photography will send an email with a picture proof and ordering instructions.

SAVE THE DATE: Back to School Night

RPHS Families,

Mark your calendars for RPHS’s Back-to-School Night on Tuesday, August 27th from 6:00 to 8:16. Families will walk their students’ schedules and spend ten minutes in each classroom. Teachers will give short presentations to introduce themselves, provide contact information, and go over classroom expectations.

Notes from the Attendance Office

Welcome to the new school year! Just a quick reminder about attendance processes and policies. As a courtesy to our teachers, staff, and administrators, please call our attendance office at 816-892-1412 or email hs_attendance@raypec.org to get your student's absence verified. Providing doctor notes from appointments that your students might have will make those absences excused. It's also important to note that if your student is attending an off-site program like the LEAD Center or Cass County Career Center, these programs keep their own attendance separate from the high school. Therefore, please make sure to reach out to that program as well. Thank you for your help in this matter as we continue to ensure a safe and productive environment for all students.

ACT Testing 2024-2025

The next ACT test date is September 14th. Go to Missouri ACT for more information and to register for the test. Regular registration for that date is August 9th. Late registration with fees is August 25th.

The RayPec High School code is 262580. That is what students use to indicate that they are a RP student so their scores get sent to us.

Raypec High School is a testing location for ACT national test dates. The RayPec Test Center Code is 166690. This is what students use to select RP as the testing location.
