Structuring Groups for Student Success
Please join the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Training & Consultation Team for this IN PERSON Training.
Ready to strengthen your Tier 2 small group instruction? This session will guide participants in building effective, systematized small groups within a PBIS framework by focusing on the key features that lead to strong outcomes, including the use of data, systems, and instructional practices. Attendees will explore how to identify students for targeted support, select relevant group topics, structure engaging instruction, and use data to monitor and evaluate effectiveness. The session will also include guidance on selecting and implementing evidence-based SEL programs appropriate for Tier 2 support.
Participant Information
Target Audience:
School counselors, building principals, interventionists & coaches, social workers, school psychologists, special education teachers
Act 48 Hours: 5.5 (five and a half) Act 48 hours will be awarded after the training.
Cost: There is no cost to attend this training.
Registration Priority: Educators who work for LEAs in the AIU3 region will have priority registration.
