Verkada Guest
Hamburg School is upgrading their visitor management system. Verkada Guest is a simple and secure way to screen, track and manage visitors. This management system will allow a guest to sign in via an onsite iPad, QR code or email invite. Guests simply follow the on screen steps to check in. Our school's visitor management system will be set up in the main foyer as visitors enter.
Details to follow once the system is operational.

Background Information and Moving Forward
In 2023 the Hamburg School partnered with Kathleen Helawa Educational Consultants to develop a 5 year (2023-2028) Strategic Plan. A school strategic plan is a document that outlines a school's goals, objectives, and strategies for the future. It's a roadmap that helps guide the school towards achieving its goals and objectives, and it can also help schools meet the needs of their students, staff, and community. The Hamburg School's District Goals are developed based on the needs outlined in the Strategic Plan and serve as the premise of the Superintendent's annual evaluation.

Shared Service Agreement with the Hamburg Police
On July 1, 2024 the Hamburg School entered into a shared services agreement with the Hamburg Police Department / Hamburg Borough Council. This agreement will allow the Hamburg Police to utilize Room 413 in the Hamburg School's 1900 building as a satellite office. The police department will have full access to the room where a police officer will be assigned to work from this satellite location. As a result, there will be an increased law enforcement presence in and around the Hamburg School. We appreciate the continued partnership with the Hamburg Borough Council, the Hamburg Fire Department, and the Hamburg Police Department.
