Attendance

A+ Attendance Award

Last week, 74% of our students had perfect attendance. Congratulations to these 5 students for being drawn as our A+ Attendance winners (from left to right) Vivian Hardin, Reese Thoma, Eleanor Peffers, Milo Cruikshank, and Cooper Bruss.

Attendance Update

Each quarter we will update you on the progress that we are making toward our attendance goal. So far, 79% of our students have been present for 94% of school. This means that 79% of our students have missed less than 2 - 1/2 days of school.


We are making great progress toward our goal and there is still plenty of time to reach it!

Costume Guidelines

Please follow these guidelines when wearing your costume to the Bash:


  1. Costumes should depict positive characters. They should not include blood or gore.
  2. Weapons will NOT be allowed as part of any costume.
  3. Light make-up can be applied for the Bash. Please limit make-up to faces only.
  4. Adults may NOT wear costumes or Halloween make-up to the Bash, however Adults who are sponsoring a table for Trick-or-Treat are permitted to wear a costume without a mask.

First Grading Period Ends Oct. 18th

The first grading period will end on Friday, Oct. 18th and report cards will be available on the Skyward Family Access Parent Portal on Tuesday, October 29th at 3 p.m. Parents have the option of printing out their student's report card. Parents needing assistance to their Parent Portal on Skyward, should contact our main office.

Fall Break - Oct. 24 & 25

There will be no school for all Duneland School students on Thursday and Friday, October 24th & 25th for fall break. Classes will resume on Monday, October 28.

Community Opportunities

The Duneland School Corporation has created a Community Opportunities page to list activities, camps and fundraisers offered by our schools, groups and organizations; as well as extracurricular opportunities offered by external, not-for-profit organizations within the Duneland School Corporation boundaries.
