Ranger Report
May 31, 2024
Hello Ranger families:
I hope this week’s edition of the Ranger Report finds you well and that you were able to enjoy your Memorial Day weekend. The emphasis at your high school these next two weeks focuses on graduation preparation and finishing the year strong by providing consistent high levels of instruction to all students. We are in good shape with 178 of our students currently not meeting 80% of their essential learning standards. This represents a 14.4% decline from a high of 208 students last month. Although we should recognize and celebrate these results, we also have a lot of work still to do and we need your help. Please check your student’s grades using the link below and encourage your student to attend the next two REID days held on June 7th and the 14th. In addition, we have after school tutoring and study halls available to assist your student with any incomplete learning. Please reach out if you have any questions, we are here to help!
Graduation preparation is going strong and we are excited to recognise our seniors and celebrate their next steps in life. I hope you will be able to attend! For the convenience of our families and everyone who supports our graduates, a livestream of the graduation ceremony is available at the link below:

Please partner with us to ensure that your child is proficient in all essential learning standards. EHS teachers and counselors are working actively to reteach challenging concepts, reach out to families and create action plans for students who have not yet shown proficiency. We can do this!

Classrooms are Cell Phone Free Zones
Life is full of distractions that keep us from performing our best.
Our expectation is that classrooms are cell phone free zones.
The classroom is a space for learning and engagement in preparation for a student’s next step in life. Join us in fostering this commitment to learning by:
Talking with your student about their cell phone use in school.
Be prepared to set limits and to collaborate with school staff in making learning a priority.
