Our faculty and staff are excited to see your dancers each week! Your children are continuing to learn new techniques, be challenged and reconnect with friends and teachers . With the holidays fast approaching schedules are filling up and mid terms will start. Please remind your dancer that dance is a place for them to unwind, let loose and work their stress out on the floor.

HOLIDAY SHOW 2024: Back by popular demand, it's a fan favorite - our Holiday Show! Come see us Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 at Cab Calloway School of the Arts for a winter wonderland of holiday song and dance. Then take a trip down The Yellow Brick Road with our own Wizard of OZ mini production. This is one show you don't want to miss!
A Million Thanks Letters to Soldiers:
The Anna Marie Dance Studio is partnering with “A Million Thanks” to show our appreciation and support for our military, past and present. It is their goal to see that our military - active, reserve and veterans- men and women -receive these message, whether they are serving at home, abroad or are recovering in hospitals. Due to privacy and security restrictions, “A Million Thanks” do not distribute names or addresses of service members to anyone for any reason. Just address the letters generically, as “Dear Hero” or “Dear Troops”. Please use the Anna Marie Dance Studio letterhead provided in the office for your handwritten message of support and appreciation. Here is an example of letters: Hi, I would like to send a card to every one! To tell them Thank You! for doing a “Great job” and keep up the Good Work. There is no words to say for what you are doing for us here at Home! Thank You!!! Happy Holidays, also! My prayers are with you “all” every day! Stay Tough! Stay safe….

WAWA TRIPS: At this time we are asking that our dancers do not walk to WaWa. Please bring food or have it delivered.
RECITAL: An email will be sent out in the next week regarding recital confirmation. These will need to be returned by NOVEMBER 15. Confirmation must be via the Jotform link included in your email. Our recital is Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 at Cab Calloway. Once you have committed to the recital pieces you are responsible for the full cost of the costume. The fee is non refundable. Costume deposit will be due November 20. Deposit is $50 per costume. Child sizes are $100 each, adult sizes are $110 each. Our recital is optional, however, dancers who will be in the recital do perform both days. More recital details to come!
NUVO DANCE CONVENTION! This year we are attending NUVO in Baltimore, Maryland. The convention will be held at The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Rooms go quickly so if you'd like to stay on site, call ASAP. There are other hotels in walking distance. All dancers are welcome ages five and older. (5 as of January 1, 2025) The convention is a wonderful time where our dancers have the opportunity to learn from a variety of world renowned choreographers in all genres. Each dancer will take classes in all genres offered. It is not only a time of learning, but of great fun and bonding. Choreographers this year include Stacey Tookey, Denise Wall and Jason Parsons to name just a few. (Choreographers do sometimes change) Please call the office or email us if you have any questions.
COMPANY KIDS we will register you for the convention, but hotel accommodations are your responsibility. (Your convention fee of $370 is included in your DU cost.)
NON COMPANY KIDS we will register you and apply the convention fee to your account of:
Ages 5-7 (Nubies) $250
8+ $370
Per dancer. Please contact the office no later than **DEC 15** in order for us to ensure your spot. Hotel accommodations are your responsibility.
If you would like to observe your dancer the price is $65.
"Nubies" ages 5-7 get one free Observer wristband. Any other observer will need to purchase a wristband. No cash will be accepted at the convention.
Observers 10 and under are free as long as with paid observer.

THANKSGIVING BREAK: Enjoy your break Wednesday, November 27- Sunday, November 30, 2024.
If you have not already, please join our private Facebook group by searching Anna Marie Dance Studio (Current Families). We post videos, pictures and information to only current families on this page.
DRESS CODE: Your child should be in proper dance attire for all classes. Shorts, t-shirts, and improper footwear are not allowed. Dress code for each style of class is listed on our website. ALL WILL BE ENFORCED. Please be sure that all clothing and shoes are labeled with your child’s name. Do not wear dance shoes outside of the studio.
LATE TUITION: Tuition is due on their first lesson of the month. You can pay cash/check via our lobby or sign up for auto pay to be charged on the 1st or 15th of the month (+2.59% surcharge) Any outstanding fees that are not paid in full by month end will be automatically charged to the credit card on file (subject to surcharge). If card is declined the account will be subject to $15.00 late fee. *A $25.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks by the bank*
