Student of the Month
Hello. I am pleased to announce that Christa McAuliffe has found another way to honor our outstanding students! Starting this month, we will be naming two “Students of the Month.” These are students that not only embody the Eagle Code of being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe, but also go above and beyond. We are very proud of the hard work the following students have done.
The first student is a 7th grader in which one of his teachers stated that he is very respectful to everyone, helps clean up, helps the class learn, and does very well because of his hard work. When he is absent, he is responsible for making up work and I'm constantly amazed and impressed by his kindness, hard effort, and respect towards teachers and all classmates! Please help me to congratulate Vijay Vann, our 7th grade SOTM!
The second student is an 8th grader and here are few quotes from his teachers.
“He is always polite and respectful while entering classroom and throughout the period. He is an excellent example of what a good student should be. He always does his best on his work and strives for excellence!”
“He comes to class prepared and is ready to participate. On many occasions he has been seen helping other students achieve success in class. I believe he should be student of the month because of his dedication to his schoolwork and his kindness to others.”
Please help me congratulate Elias Almaraz, our 8th grade SOTM! Students, please come down and claim your prizes in the office. Well done gentlemen!
NEW Sock Drive
The Christa McAuliffe Student Leadership Class is starting a NEW Sock Drive on Monday, December 2nd and it will continue through Wednesday, December 18th.
The AMAZING PE department has added an extra incentive. If you bring in 6 pairs of NEW socks you will get out of the 1 mile run at the beginning of 3rd QT.
The Leadership students will be in the lobby each morning to collect your socks and give you the PE pass for your free mile run.
Thank you for helping with our SOCK Drive, they will be donated to a local Church which helps with our non-housed population.
Lost & Found
Dear Families. We have a large number of lost items, including hoodies, coats, and water bottles. The lost items are located in our lobby. Please encourage your student to look for any lost items you feel may have been left at school. Thank you.

Parent Climate Survey
Dear Lodi Unified School District Parents and Guardians,
Each year, the district desires to obtain community input to measure parent and family engagement, including how well the district builds relationships between school staff and families, builds partnerships for student outcomes, and seeks input for decision-making. Each year the district collects this information in part using the Parent Climate Survey. This survey also helps determine the allocation of services included in the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), and is used to evaluate the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for each Title I school site. It is a valuable source of information, and we hope that you take the time to answer thoughtfully. The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. The survey will be available from December 9th to December 20th. This link will take you to the survey. Your responses will remain anonymous.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback!
