Leaning Into Academics
October is Here!
As we flip the calendar to October, I am happy to see our students beginning to finally settle into a routine. We will continue to remind students about their responsibilities as a “Proud Patriot” so we can ensure our culture and climate is conducive to high academic achievement and growth.
October also represents the month that learning begins in earnest. By this point, teachers have a good understanding of students’ needs and we are all ready to begin leaning into academics.
Cedar Grove Elementary's Building Goals for the 2021-22 School Year include:
- Improve the health and wellness of staff and students.
- Improve and increase math differentiation strategies to build conceptual understanding of mathematics.
- Improve the writing growth of K-5 students.
Students will work with their teachers in creating goals and tracking individual growth. This improves student agency and increases the quality of student outcomes. We value your partnership in growing our young Patriots academically and socially.
