Spotlight on Ms. Isabella Adad
I’m Isabella Adad and I’m so thrilled to be at Balboa as the new vocal music enrichment teacher this year! To share a bit of my musical background, I graduated with my Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance and Music and Worship from Azusa Pacific University. I have been teaching private lessons in voice and piano for a few years, and have been loving teaching in a classroom setting here at Balboa. In addition to classical singing, I enjoy performing in musical theater productions, and playing piano, guitar and ukulele! I also love to sing and write commercial music, often in the pop and singer/songwriter genres, and have released two singles on streaming platforms this past year. I have a deep passion for music and its power to bring people together, and am so excited to share that with the students this year! In music class, students will learn facets of vocal technique, music theory, genres of music and music history. I am also looking forward to helping them prepare for the winter performance coming up in December!
