Christmas Concert
I would like to thank everyone who made our Christmas Concert last night a resounding success.
To our incredible students—your talent and dedication shone brightly! Your outstanding singing and acting brought the performance to life and filled the space with joy and inspiration. You should all be very proud of your hard work.
To our amazing staff—thank you for your efforts in organising every detail. Your commitment ensured all was in readiness and gave our students the platform to showcase their talents.
And to our supportive community—we are immensely grateful for your enthusiastic turnout. Your presence and encouragement made this event special. It is your support that contributes to such a vibrant and nurturing environment for our students.
We look forward to many more memorable Christmas Concerts here at Queenies.
Staffing
In staffing news, I would like to inform you that Emma Ashworth will be concluding her employment here at Queen of Apostles at the end of the year. She has accepted a position at a school closer to home.
I would like to thank Emma for her service to the school and community over the past two years and wish her all the best for the next chapter of her career.
We are currently in the process of finding a replacement Pre-Primary Teacher and I will let you know once that is complete.
Graduation
Next Wednesday afternoon starting at 1pm is the Year 6 Graduation Mass & Ceremony for 2024. This is a very special day in the lives of these students and their families. I would like to wish our Year 6 students all the best of luck as they start the next phase in their schooling journey. They are a fantastic class with many wonderful talents who contribute so much to the running of the school. We can’t wait to hear about the wonderful things they have been up to when they come back and visit.
Reports
Reports for Semester Two 2024 will be available via SEQTA on Wednesday 4th December. Can all parents/guardians please make sure your log in details work prior to this date. If you are having any issues, please contact the office. Once reports are made available, I encourage you to read over the information very thoroughly with your child. It is important they have an understanding of the areas they have done well in and any areas for improvement. I thank our teaching staff for all their hard work in preparing the reports.

Dates for 2024
Interschool Athletics Carnival
Our inter-school athletics team had a fantastic result last Friday, with so many exciting races and place ribbons coming home. Queen of Apostles finished 2nd out of six schools. Special mention goes to Hudson (yr 4 champion boy), Gabby (yr 5 champion girl), Georgia (yr 4 runner-up girl) and Spencer (yr 5 runner-up boy).
Thank you to our cheer squad for supporting the team and Mr Ryan and Mrs O'Brien in the tent. Thanks to Paul Martin for helping at the finish line too!
Special note - the PE teacher from Our Lady of Fatima said to me at the end of the day that our (Queenies) kids were just lovely. I asked what she meant. She said, "They were all just so happy and smiley and had lovely manners". That also made my day!
If you took any photos today that you don't mind sharing, you can post them to me on Seesaw, or email ross.bridgeman@cewa.edu.au.
Thanks
Mr B
