Last Day of School - Thursday, June 13th!
The last day of school is Thursday, June 13th. Dismissal will take place at 12:15 PM following the 5th grade clap out at 12:00 PM.
Fall Enrollment Confirmation: Are You Returning?
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we need to confirm our student enrollment.
If your Kindergarten through 4th grade child will not be returning to Winchester Elementary in the fall, please contact us at obsniude@northvilleschools.org as soon as possible if you have not already done so.
Your timely response will help us plan effectively for the next school year.

Medication Pick Up
We kindly ask you to pick up any medications your child has at school from the main office by Friday, June 14th at 4:00 PM. Any medication not picked up will be discarded.
The office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Important Information re: Medication from Your District Nurse!
Please see updates for the 2024-25 school year
It is recognized that there may be instances when medication must be administered to your child during school hours. If medication is necessary during school hours this requires a Medication Authorization and/or Emergency Action Plan please see the following directions:
Visit the Northville Public Schools website at https://www.northvilleschools.org/apps/pages/health and select the appropriate medical form for your student. All forms must be filled out and signed by both a health care provider and a parent/guardian. Forms must be in place before any medications can be given at school and renewed each school year (dated after June 30th).
Allergy Plan: Allergy diagnosis that requires medication at school (examples: EpiPen, inhaler, and/or antihistamines) and/or directives for care.
Asthma Plan: Asthma diagnosis that requires medication at school (example: inhaler) and/or directives for care.
Seizure Action Plan: Epilepsy/Seizure diagnosis that requires medication at school (example: Valtoco) and/or directives for care.
Medication Authorization: Requires medication prescription and nonprescription (example: Tylenol and Motrin).
Bring the completed medical form with the prescribed medication in the original container (pharmacy label including name) prior to the first day of school. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s school or Verna Martin, District Nurse Consultant Martinve@northvilleschools.org.

FREE Young 5's Program Enrollment now OPEN for Fall 2024!
Enrollment for our new Young 5's Program is now open! We have posted several helpful documents on our Young 5's website including Frequently Asked Questions, Early Learners Program Comparison, and Kindergarten Readiness.
Geared towards ensuring kindergarten readiness for our little learners, this tuition-free program is designed to boost academic, social, language, and fine motor skills. It will be a five-day-a-week program that serves as a bridge between preschool and typical kindergarten. These classrooms will be for students born between July 1, 2019-December 1, 2019.

Lost and Found

Please click here to see if any lost and found items belong to your child. If so, please have them pick it up from the Lost and Found or email Kellie Anzenberger at anzenbergerke@northvilleschools.org, please be sure to include your child's name so the item can be returned.
Still missing something that isn't pictured? Have your child check their classroom, the gym or cubby area.

If we hit our goal of $10,000 the school will have a celebration by pieing Mrs. Lindsay in the face!!!!!
Raise $50 or more and receive a free kids meal at Chick-fil-a (Northville), Ihop or Texas Roadhouse
Raise $10 or more and receive a pencil
Class that raises the most money will have a Dilly Bar Party sponsored by Dairy Queen on 5 Mile
DON'T FORGET TO:
- Send your child’s pledge page from 99Pledges to family and friends
- Sign up to volunteer at the event- without Volunteers this even is not possible

We want to make starting a new school Is as easy as possible!
We know as a new parent there are so many little questions you have and we want to make sure we can help you answer them!
We will pair you up with a current Winchester family to help answer questions about the bus, kids club, where to buy school supplies, where to find out who your teacher Is etc...

For those of you that have already linked your accounts to Winchester Elementary, it is now time to re-enroll in the Busch’s Cash for Education program. You are required to re-enroll every year. Enrollment will begin in October of the year prior and close on the first of the New Year. If you

HOURS / DAYS: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

2024 Mini-Mustangs Splash-Spin-Gallop Youth Camp
Does your child love to move? Need a summer activity? Northville Girls Cross Country is hosting the 2024 Mini-Mustangs Splash-Spin-Gallop Youth Camp for all boys and girls going into 3rd-8th grade (2024-2025 school year). The camp is from Monday, August 5th - Thursday, August 8th from 9-11 AM at NHS. The cost is $100 for 4 days or $60 for only 2 days. See flyer for details.

NORTHVILLE TRAVEL SOCCER TRYOUTS
ENVY FC, Northville's local travel soccer club, will be holding tryouts for 2024/2025 teams the weekend of June 8th and 9th. Tryouts are open for boys teams and girls teams with birth years from 2012 to 2016. ENVY teams currently include kids from all 6 Northville elementary schools and both middle schools.
