STAFF SPOTLIGHT & WELCOME TO JSU - MS. GLORIA GIDLEY, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
I'm beyond thrilled to become part of the JSU family! I have lived in Oxford for the past 30 years with my family. I have a wonderful son, Maverick, two funny and sweet precious grandchildren, Lawson and Reid, and an incredible daughter, Makaila, who's working hard on her Masters right here at JSU. Recently, I've taken a big step forward in my personal life by getting engaged to fiancé, Clay Walker.
My career journey has been diverse, with experiences ranging from benefits counseling to safety assistance, office management, and a solid stint in HR. Now, I'm eager to bring this multifaceted background to JSU.
The outdoors is where I find my bliss—whether it's beach days, camping adventures, kayaking, or the rush of riding four-wheelers and wave runners. Sports, especially football, hold a special place in my heart. I'm also a huge fan of music, concerts, movies, painting, but my absolute favorite thing to do in my spare time is bake and decorate cakes for any and every special event.
I'm genuinely excited to join JSU, eager to contribute my energy and passion to this incredible community that my daughter has been apart of for several years already. Looking forward to the journey ahead!
