- Picture Day is this Friday, September 27. Students can dress down or wear their uniform for photos - your choice!
- The picnic is right around the corner! The last day to order ride armbands is this Friday!!! Did you place your order?? All picnic information is listed below the "Parish and Community" section including a link to volunteer. Volunteers are integral to the success of the picnic. Thank for signing up to help!
- Have a pet? Bring it to the Blessing of the Pets next Wednesday at 3:15. Also, donate items for the Human Society. Thanks to Francis House for leading this effort. See the information below.
- NWEA/MAP scores are coming home in the yellow envelope. If you would like to know more about interpreting your child's scores, you are welcome to attend the Parent University session on Tuesday, October 1, at 6:30 in the cafeteria.
- We also sending home the blank ELA report card and rubric for grades 1-8 in the yellow envelope so that you can see how your student is being assessed in ELA.
- Thanks to everyone who has filled out the School Improvement Plan survey. The link was sent out last week and a reminder email was sent out earlier this morning. The survey ends this Friday at 3:30.

Francis House Hosts Blessing of the Pets and Seeks Donations for the Humane Society
Dear Parents,
We invite you to join us in the blessing of the pets. Francis House, along with Father Molini, have organized a pet blessing on October 2, 2024. The blessing will start at 3:15 in the school parking lot, and any pet is welcome.
We would also appreciate it if you brought certain items, such as paper towels and blankets, to help support the Humane Society. This collection will end at the pet blessing.

Parents have the opportunity to volunteer at school by helping with lunch and recess duties. All volunteers must go through the Protecting God's Children / Safe Environment training requirement.
- Please do not sign up for a position if you have not completed Protecting God's Children / Safe Environment training. Information on this is posted below. .

Protecting God's Children / Safe Environment Training
- Important - All volunteers need to successfully complete the mandated Archdiocesan Protecting God's Children/Safe Environment Training. Before signing up for lunch duty/recess duty, field trips, etc., volunteers must have this completed. Francis House will be sponsoring Donations for the Humane Society to help animals. We would like your help to collect items for these animals in need. Items needed are:

Diaper rolls

Dog and Cat Toys
Our collection will run until the Pet Blessing on October 2 and we will finish collections at 3:15 in the school parking lot. You can bring your pets October 2, at 3:15 to the school parking lot for the pet blessing.
