Reminders and Important Points
1)Medication Pick Up- Please read this letter from the Nurse's Office regarding picking up your student's medication prior to the end of the school year.
2) Dismissing a Student - If you know that your student needs to be dismissed early, please send them to school with a note at the start of the day. This is more efficient for our staff to process the dismissal's rather than a phone call. Of course there will be times where you need to call in an emergency, but please make an effort to provide a written note whenever possible.
3) Final Exams at NHS - Please CLICK HERE to see Exam Schedule and Expectations for students and families
4) To Families of Seniors (Class of 2023) - Please see the letter that Mr. Hoye sent to families and students of the Class of 2023 linked below. This letter outlines the dates and details of Senior events and activities leading up to graduation.
Letter to Seniors and Families - Senior Events and Activities
4)9th Grade Science MCAS, June 6 and June 7 - All 9th-grade students will take the Science MCAS on 6/6 and 6/7. Students must take the test on their school-issued device; the testing platform is not compatible with personal devices. Students will be notified of their assigned testing rooms during the week of 5/30 and should report to those testing rooms on 6/6 and 6/7 at 8:15am.
Seniors - Important Information re: Laptops
All seniors who have been assigned a school owned laptop and charger are required to turn in both to the Technology Helpdesk before picking up your cap and gowns or participating in senior events.
ALL school issued laptops are the property of Natick Public Schools and MUST be turned in before graduating.
We will officially start collecting Senior Laptops on Thursday, May 25th (Rehearsal #1, from 11am to 12:30 pm ) in the area just outside the Auditorium, but you may drop off your laptop prior to this at the Technology Help Desk located in the NHS Library.
Plan accordingly – The FINAL day to turn in your Laptop is scheduled for Tuesday, May 30th (Rehearsal #2, from 9am to 12 noon). The Technology Team will be located outside against the wall of the Gym. In the event of inclement weather, we will set up in the back of the Gymnasium. NOTE: Failure to turn in your device during these designated dates could result in a charge for the full value of the laptop, plus a fine.
NOTE: If you received a letter about a damaged or lost laptop or have outstanding device fees in your four years at NHS and the fees have not been paid you are required to pay those fees before receiving your cap and gown or participating in the senior events. Please check in with the front office.
Also, if you have any emails or documents that you would like to keep after graduation, we suggest using Google Takeout to retrieve your documents ASAP. If you have any questions or concerns, please visit the Technology Office in the Library. Your email account and Google Drive will be available through August 1, 2023, when it will be disabled.

Just a reminder, if your child tests positive for Covid-19, they must stay home for 5 days. The day they started symptoms is Day 0, the next day is Day 1, then Day 2, etc. They may return to school on Day 6 and must wear a mask for an additional 5 days. A headache, scratchy throat, congestion/runny nose, cough, and/or fever are some of the more common symptoms of Covid-19.
Siblings and close contacts do not need to quarantine and can come to school as long as they are not having symptoms of illness. However, they must wear a mask for 10 days when around others following a Covid exposure.
