Being the Best Advocate for Your Loved One and Family
You Can Learn How to Support Your Loved One's Needs!
As a parent or caregiver of an individual with a disability, it is critical to understand the laws that protect them. This presentation will review the most important laws and what impact they have on the lives they protect. Participants will also learn effective strategies to organize and document the necessary information that must be saved. Also in this presentation, caregivers will learn how to create the story they want to share about their loved one, and how to be a stigma fighter in the process.
