Trojan Weekly - September 9
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
Dear AME Families,
We sincerely appreciate your attendance at Thursday's Back To School Night. We hope you found the evening to be informative and valuable.
Our amazing teachers, who I consider to be real superheroes, were happy to meet with you and share their plans for the upcoming school year. Your engagement and support are crucial to your child's success, and we're grateful for your partnership.
Thank you again for taking the time to be part of this important night. We look forward to a fantastic school year ahead!
Student Drop Off Update:
Our drop off procedure continues to show improvement. Please continue to follow the school's procedures, it makes a big difference. Most importantly, please always pull forward, have your child exit on the passenger side and remind your children not to climb the hill but rather use the stairs.

AME Superheroes Igniting Futures & Empowering Minds
AME teachers are true superheroes in the classroom and beyond. With hearts of kindness, they create a nurturing environment where every student feels valued and supported. Their focus on academics ensures that our children receive a top-notch education, while their rigorous approach challenges students to reach their full potential. But what truly sets our teachers apart is how incredibly cool they are – connecting with students on a personal level, making learning fun, and inspiring their students. Just like superheroes, our AME teachers have the extraordinary ability to transform lives and shape the future, one student at a time.

Feeney Park Drop Off & Pickup
Important Reminders For Student Drop Off & Pick Up
- Children may only be dropped off and picked up in the Feeney Park parking lot.
Serious safety concerns have arisen, relative to the morning drop off line. If you want to walk your child to the stairs, please park your vehicle in a parking space. Do not stop your vehicle in the drop off line and exit the car to walk your child to the stairs.
- In order for a safe and speedy morning drop off, your child must remain in the car until
you reach the first place in line. Mrs. Martinez or other Michelson personnel will safely assist your child as he/she exits the car. Do not allow your child to exit your vehicle until you reach the first
place in line.
- All students must walk up the stairs to the playground. Remind your child not to climb
the hillside.
- All vehicles (except those bearing “Disabled” placards) are prohibited from entering the main
Michelson School parking lot to drop off and/or pick up children.
