Winter Weather
For snowy days where students want to play in the snow, they will need the following.
- Snow boots with an change of shoes
- Showpants
- Hat and gloves/mittens
If a student does not have these items, they will still go outdoors but will be limited to the blacktop.
Naperville Education Foundation
Special thanks to the following individuals who helped raise some funds for our school.
Sarah Dumler, Tom Althoff, Katherine Goebel, Lisa and Ryan Caulfield.
Arrival/Dismissal reminders
A few reminders with the colder temperatures coming soon:
- 12th Ave. is not a designated drop-off/pick-up location. Please continue to only use 11th Ave. if using a car at those times.
- 11th Ave. drop-off begins after the stripped yellow lines. This is where staff supervision begins, and we'll be able to assist students as needed.
- Students should be walking at all times. Our custodial staff works hard to prevent icy conditions, and we need students to also be safe.
- Bike riders should continue to walk bikes/scooters on the blacktop and field.
We hope you might consider this opportunity for your child/children that is being offered free of charge by North Central College.

November Social Emotional Connection
As we approach December, a time filled with holiday cheer and family gatherings, we understand that while this is a wonderful opportunity for rest and relaxation, it can also come with its own set of challenges. With children at home, routines are often disrupted, and it can be tricky to strike the right balance between keeping things structured and allowing for the free time that kids so look forward to. While the school schedule is paused, kids still thrive on routine. A predictable daily schedule—even if it's more relaxed than the typical school day—can help them feel secure and help the time at home pass smoothly. Winter break is also the perfect chance to connect as a family.. This doesn’t always require grand outings or expensive plans; some of the best moments come from simple, shared activities. Above all, remember that this time is about quality moments with your family. Whether you're sticking to a routine or enjoying spontaneous fun, it’s the time together that matters most.

Got an Idea to Improve Our School?
Beebe’s Home & School community works hard each year to support the social, emotional, and academic needs at our school. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience for all our students at Beebe. Any money that we raise above and beyond our annual budget expenses can be used for wishes. If you have an idea that you believe will benefit our school, now is the time to make your wish known! So, wish big, wish small - just be sure to submit your wishes by December 13th. Families, staff, and students can all submit wishes! Wishes must... • Supplement instructional needs of school • Target entire school or grade-level • Not include technology hardware • Not have a more appropriate funding source
