Our Life Skill for this week will focus on "Accountability: Taking ownership of decisions and choices you make." Accountability is about recognizing that you are responsible for your actions and the choices you make. In the context of the Catholic faith, it means understanding that your decisions have consequences and that you should take ownership of them, both good and bad. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that we have free will, which means we can make choices, but with that freedom comes responsibility. We are called to make choices that align with God's will and to be aware of how our actions affect ourselves and others.
